Car Background Remover (car-background-remover.com) provides an AI car background removal website and related guides. This policy describes what we collect and why. It is written to match our public FAQ answers about uploads and training.

Information we collect

• Email if you join the waitlist, create an account, or contact us
• Account identifiers if you sign in with a provider (e.g. Google)
• Usage analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) if enabled on the site
• Uploaded vehicle images and generated outputs when processing features are live
• Basic technical logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention

Car photos & processing

When you upload a car photo for background removal, the image is sent to our servers and/or infrastructure providers we use solely to run the cutout job and return a downloadable result (for example white background or transparent PNG).

• Purpose: process your job and let you download the result—not to build public marketing galleries from private uploads without consent.
• Retention: guest/temporary jobs are kept only long enough to deliver the result and handle short-term retries (typically up to 24–72 hours, then deleted or made inaccessible). Signed-in history, if offered, lasts until you delete items or close the account, subject to backup cycles.
• Sale of images: we do not sell your uploaded photos.
• Training: we do not use your uploads to train public foundation models that we sell or open-source to third parties. If we ever use aggregate technical metrics to improve our own product pipeline, we will update this policy and the FAQ first.

Do not upload images you are not allowed to use. Do not use background removal to misrepresent vehicle condition.

Cookies & ads

We may use cookies for analytics and essential site function. If display ads (e.g. AdSense) are enabled later, third parties may set cookies for ad personalization per their policies.

Third-party processors

We may use infrastructure and SaaS providers (hosting, storage, authentication, email, analytics, GPU inference) under contracts that limit use of data to providing their service to us.

Your choices

• Request deletion of waitlist email or account data via contact email
• Avoid uploading plates or sensitive documents you do not want processed
• Use browser controls to limit analytics cookies where applicable

Children

The service is aimed at adults selling or marketing vehicles—not at children under 13 (or the age required in your region).

Changes

We may update this policy as features launch. The “Last updated” date at the top will change; material changes to upload training or retention will also be reflected in the privacy FAQ.
